The beauty about Valentines Day at Sheffield restaurants is that you can eat food from all over the world, whatever the size of your budget. Or, you can what I did last year, you can cook up a storm at home, print off your own menu for the evening, light some candles and serve it all up on posh plates. Yes, I really did put the schmoo into schmooth last year. Happy days.

Did you know that January sees the biggest amount of new memberships taken up at the local gym? True story. But how long does it last? Mine lasted a few weeks, until I did my back in trying to push some heavy weights. Then, just when you think you’re membership has expired, the money keeps going out of your account and when you complain you get told to read the small print – you need to give x amount of weeks notice. What has this got to do with January offers at Sheffield restaurants I hear you ask? And the answer is: not that much to be fair! Considering all the alcohol the average person consumes on a typical NYE, you’d be wise to do all your drinking on a full stomach. This New Years Eve at Sheffield restaurants you can eat until you’re fit to burst, then drink yourself silly (if that’s what you want to do) knowing you won’t have to eat again until 2009!
